Baracuta

One of BRITAIN'S most iconic brands, BARACUTA has its origins in 1930s MANCHESTER. Brothers JOHN and ISAAC MILLER owned a factory in the city, which at the time went by the nickname "COTTONOPOLIS" to reflect its status as the world's most prolific cotton textile producer.

At the beginning of their story BARACUTA manufactured raincoats for the likes of BURBERRY and ACQUASCUTUM. When they decided to produce garments under the BARACUTA moniker, it set them on the path to creating one of the most famous jackets of them all.

The BARACUTA G9 "HARRINGTON" jacket has a roll call that reads STEVE MCQUEEN, ELVIS, FRANK SINATRA, GREGORY PECK, ARNOLD PARKER, THE CLASH, CHET BAKER, MILES DAVIS, DAMON ALBAM, LIAM GALLAGHER, PAUL WELLER, ERIC CLAPTON, SUPERMAN, JAMES BOND et al.
